The UK Sun, who served as the de facto mediator in the pre-UFC 83 war of words between Michael Bisping and Charles McCarthy, has a full page article with the requisite “meaning Kimbo picture” entitled “Kimbo Slice calls out “The Iceman”:

KIMBO SLICE has sensationally called out UFC legend Chuck Liddell.

The Elite XC fighter, who rose to fame after a series of videos of him street-fighting were posted on YouTube, is sick of having his MMA skills called into doubt.

‘Old School’ Kimbo Slice

Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, is seen by some mixed martial arts fans as a bit of a sideshow due to his lack of professional fighting experience.

But he has hit back by launching an amazing tirade at former UFC light-heavyweight champion Liddell.

Slice said: “We can always take it back to old-school — that’ll work for me.

“I’ve still got love for all the MMA fighters. But if you keep on rapping man, I’m going to have to zip it closed because I’m getting tired of the talk.

“The next one that has something to say, just see me. I’ll come to your camp — and that’s real talk.”

Kimbo is the last guy I’d want coming after me “old school”. Liddell even has a torn hamstring, meaning that he’d have problems even running from Kimbo.
