Nick Diaz *back* on DREAM.3 card?
By Jim Murphy May 8th, 2008That’s what I’m hearing from a few usually reliable sources in Japan. Word is that DREAM parent company FEG and EliteXC have worked out some sort of agreement and Gary Shaw has given his blessings to Diaz fighting on Sunday’s show. Actually, that part happened yesterday but at that point Diaz said that since he’d stopped training and put weight back on that he couldn’t be ready in time for the fight. I’m not sure what has changed, but Diaz has apparently reconsidered and the fight is back on. At least for now–since in the span of 3 or 4 days the fight has been on, off, on again, off again and now on again I won’t consider it a done deal until I hear Lenne Hardt (aka the “crazy PRIDE English announcer lady”) shrieking Diaz’s name….
