Trump to buy into Affliction promotion
By Jim Murphy June 4th, 2008Donald Trump must have liked what he saw during the Affliction press conference at Trump Tower in NYC as he’s reportedly taking a significant financial stake in the promotion. Note that this is only the MMA promotion–he’s not buying into the clothing end of the business. Too bad Trump is such a low profile figure–oh, that’s right: he’s a walking press generation machine. Regardless of how much money he brings to the table just having his name attached to the promotion is a huge coup for Affliction MMA. Also, the Arlovski signing is now a done deal as we reported a while back. He’ll be facing Ben Rothwell on the debut show for the promotion
