EliteXC: Antonio Silva vs. Justin Eilers

FIRST ROUND:
Match is for the vacant EliteXC heavyweight title. Silva starts with a leg kick then starts to follow Eilers around the cage in a boxing stance. Nice stance, with his chin down, his hands up and good balance. Eilers just misses with a couple of big punches. Silva just misses with a big head kick. Silva scoring well with his counterpunches. Silva grabs his opponent and takes him down. Silva now has his opponent’s back and is landing big punches to the back of the head. Herb Dean stands them up after penalizing Silva for a punch to the back of the head. Silva tries to work the anaconda choke. Eilers fighting more strategically now, but he’s having trouble with Silva’s huge reach advantage. 10-9 Silva, with a point deduction its a 9-9 draw.
SECOND ROUND:
Silva counters a Eilers left hook and then opens a barrage of punches to knock his opponent down. Herb Dean stops it less than a minute in…
