In an interview with Russian media Aleksander Emelianenko, brother of baddest man on the planet Fedor Emelianenko and really, really bad rapper denied that he was yanked from the Affliction: Banned card due to a positive test for Hepatitis B. He’s claiming it was a simple case of being late with his medicals:

Emelianenko, the younger brother of former PRIDE champion Fedor, shot down the rumor in an interview with Russian news portal Life.ru, explaining that he was barred from competing at the July 19 “Affliction: Banned” because he was late for his medicals.

A victim of VISA issues, Emelianenko didn’t arrive in the US until July 15, two days after the scheduled date for his medicals with the California State Athletic Commission.

Aleksander didn’t deny rumors that the California State Athletic Commission wanted him to attend a mandatory hip hop counseling session with Dr. Dre due to his dismal performance on the mic….
