Martial arts fighter Gina Carano will appear in men’s magazine Maxim this month.
Carano, who specializes in Muay Thai boxing, is also known as “Crush” on the American Gladiators sports competition show.
When asked about the role she plays in the world of mixed martial arts fighting, she notes:
“I am a recognized female in the sport, but I don’t think that I am the face of women’s MMA,” Carano said, according to reports today. “It’s just a label. I’m Gina Carano. You can label me that.”
Cute pictures, but those of you lusting after Ms. Carano don’t get your hopes up. Gina’s weigh ins are usually more revealing…

I would so let her punch me.
Any way at all I can get even a tryout as her ground and pound training partner? I would consider a career change for that, surely.
All innuendo aside, what a great sample fighter for what is competitive fighting for women. My wife and I follow her religiously, and we’re excited that she’s stepping up again to take on all comers.
