As if he needed any more legitimacy…UFC welterweight champion and one of the best PFP fighters in the world Georges St. Pierre just earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This will go nicely with his black belt in karate and his sick ability to dominate amateur wrestling monsters like Josh Koscheck on the ground. One of the reasons that I think Georges St. Pierre has a chance to be considered the best fighter in mixed martial arts history some day is that he never stops adding new weapons to his arsenal.

The latest example: St. Pierre received his Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt over the weekend.

“This was the high point in my career,” St.-Pierre said of getting the BJJ black belt, per GracieMag.com. “When I received my black belt in karate, when I conquered the UFC belt, and today.”
