Her career was dealt a jarring blow, but Gina Carano is confident she’ll land on her feet.

Carano, one of the best and most popular female mixed martial arts fighters in the world, is under contract with Elite XC. But Elite XC is reportedly going under.

Which leaves Carano in limbo.

“It’s not official yet, but they’re obviously going down. I’ll be fine. I won’t be hurt,” Carano said. “I have lots of offers, but I can’t take any seriously until we figure out what’s happening with Elite XC. We’ll go with the best money offer.”

Carano, 7-0-0 in her pro career, is in Reno this weekend to meet her fans. She’ll sign autographs from 2-4 p.m. today at Rum Bullions inside the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in downtown Reno.

Carano, 26, grew up in Reno and Las Vegas and considers both cities to be her home.
