Inside MMA 3/27/09

Here’s the latest episode of ‘Inside MMA’ which features Josh Barnett filling in for Bas Rutten. Not surprisingly, Barnett is very good in the role. The only real surprise is that he owns a suit.

    I thought that Barnett did a very respectable job, also providing something that I think would make for an EXCELLENT reality show - the reality of MMA. When they started to talk about how The Ultimate Fighter gets it wrong (not so strangely sounding terrrrrribly familiar >koff!<) the banter back and forth about making LIFE work while trying to be a professional in MMA - I’m telling you, there is a MARKET for that and whomever picks that up first will have something TRULY special. I think it’s the piece of what made/makes the TapouT model work on that show. The endearing piece of meeting people with REAL lives is KEY to making something succeed.
