Shane Carwin highlight video

Here’s a highlight video from 2006 of Shane Carwin’s first two pro fights. His name has been thrown around a lot as a potential matchup for Brock Lesnar–while his ability to hang with Big Bad Brock remains to be seen, he’s definitely no joke. He’s got the size to hang with Lesnar at 6′3 and walks around close to 3 bills. Carwin was a NCAA Div. II heavyweight wrestling champion, so he’s got the grappling background. He’s 11-0 as a pro, destroying Gabriel Gonzaga by TKO at just over a minute of the first round last time out. In fact, none of his opponents have ever made it out of the first round. Even more impressive, after his MMA debut (which took him all of 2:12) none of his opponents have lasted two minutes with the guy with five of his fights ending in under a minute. Again, beating Lesnar is a tall order but Carwin is no doubt a beast:
