We’ve spoken to several entertainment/media sources who are estimating UFC 103’s buyrate to be in the 400k to 600k range. While a solid number never gets released, the recent breakdown of UFC PPVs goes like this (again these are all estimates):

Wow, how things change. It wasn’t a year ago that Dana White was bashing Kimbo Slice saying that he’d never fight in the UFC, and callnig him a disgrace to MMA who had ‘been fighting in backyards’ just a few months ago. Then it was ‘Kimbo will have to win TUF to fight [...]

Mayweather vs. Marquez will all but certainly outperform UFC 103’s buyrate, as the boxing PPV did over a million buys. Can’t wait to hear Dana’s spin when UFC 103 does roughly half that figure.
