That will no doubt come as a relief to Spike TV and the Kimbo fanboys. I’d be interested to know how much of a bonus Jones got for doing the ‘fever job’. Here’s a comment from the Spike TV website giving you a good idea of the type of ‘new fans’ Mr. Slice is attracting to the sport:

Not to burst the bubble of the gentleman named ‘ topazskillmauler’ who posted that erudite analysis of the UFC’s heavyweight class of the future, but if Kimbo and Nelson fight 100 times at this stage of the game Big Roy is walking away with the victory 99 of those times. Maybe Zuffa will hold a future event in an abandoned boat dealership parking lot to better accommodate the Kimbo demographic they’re strangely content on wooing after they ripped EliteXC a new one for doing the same thing.

Anyway here’s the video. I’ve found the best way to enjoy the show is wait for Mike Wilkerson’s recaps and his all new TUF podcast. ‘topazskillmauler’ might have trouble with the many multi-syllable words. If the UFC keeps bringing this type of element into the sport’s fanbase I guess we’ll eventually have to invest in a translator to translate our content into ‘idiot’.
