Josh Neer released from UFC contract
By Jim Murphy October 31st, 2009The UFC has sent ‘The Dentist’ packing. Josh Neer has been released from his UFC contract following his unanimous decision loss to Gleison Tibeau at UFC 104. Neer has lost three of his last four fights–including the loss to Tibeau he dropped a unanimous decision to Kurt Peligrino and lost a split decision to Nate Diaz. ‘The Dentist’ should be a good pickup for Strikeforce other promotion–he’s only 26 and one of those fighters who always gives a good account of himself win or lose.
