Kimbo not boffo B.O. at TUF Finale
By Jim Murphy December 6th, 2009Early reports are that The Ultimate Fighter Finale did 1,400 people in the 2,200 seat ‘The Pearl at the Palms’. Doesn’t say much about Kimbo Slice’s drawing power. More problematically, the 1,400 numbers is tickets *distributed* and there’s no indication how many of those were giveaways. By way of comparison, the TUF: US vs. UK Finale did a sellout 2,217 with just over 1,800 paid.
Tonight’s numbers are from a UFC spokesman, with official figures to be released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission next week.
