DREAM has added several non-tournament fights to their DREAM 7 MMA event scheduled to take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on March 8th. In addition to the featherweight GP first round and the previously announced Shinya Aoki/David Gardner fight there will be a lightweight battle between Tatsuya Kawajiri and Ross Ebanez [...]

Shinya Aoki will move up to welterweight to participate in the DREAM welterweight GP MMA event beginning in April. He’ll join Hayato ‘Mach’ Sakurai as the first two confirmed names for the event. More participants to come.
UPDATE: Nightmare of Battle is also listing Akuhisa ‘Minowaman’ Minowa as participating in a non-GP fight [...]

DREAM is trying to finalize a Shinya Aoki/Eddie Alverez fight for New Years’ Eve–that would be the second of two excellent lightweight bouts along with the previously booked Joachim Hansen/JZC fight.
