KJ Noons has sent this to a number of MMA media outlets and it appears to be
legit. Nothing really too exciting–We have no issue with Noons
fighting Eddie Alverez but he’s realistically not going to be able to
fight until later this year. He had a nasty eye injury at the DREAM
LW GP semi finals …

He makes an effort to be diplomatic here and there, but EliteXC VP Jared Shaw is none too happy with “Nature Boy” KJ Noons–and with good reason. Fight Hype has an interview with Shaw, here’s a tasty excerpt:
PC: Are you anticipating a press conference from Noons' camp?
JS: Honestly, I don't care one way or …

Great interview @ FightTicker with Rosi Sexton, who is an actual Ph.D. and definitely one of the sharpest tools in the MMA shed:
A few mixed martial artists have been heralded for their high educational accomplishments. But no elite mixed martial artist can come close to the level of education held by professional mixed martial artist, …

EliteXC’s Antonio Silva and Affliction’s Edwin Dewees are the “guilty parties” announced yesterday by the CSAC:
The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has informed FightTicker.com that EliteXC heavyweight champ Antonio Silva tested positive for Boldenone at EliteXC’s “Unfinished Business” event on July 26.
According to the email sent to FightTicker.com by the CSAC:
Reigning Elite XC World Heavyweight …

MMA Frenzy is reporting that the California State Athletic Commission will announce that one fighter each at the Stockton EliteXC card and the Affliction: Banned event tested positive for a banned subject. Not sure why the CSAC just didn’t announce who it was, but they’ve exhibited some curious behavior in the past and given …

Add EliteXC to the list of those who are tired of “Nature Boy” KJ Noons antics. Not that anyone blames him for not wanting to fight Nick Diaz under the best of circumstances, and certainly after all of the trash talking he’s done:
EliteXC has big plans for its Oct. 4 appearance on CBS. With …

Good interview with Kelly Kobald at FightHype–she’s most definitely not just a “setup” type opponent for Gina Carano to look good:
I’m looking for a 1st or 2nd round TKO or stoppage. Gina may be the face of MMA, but I have to say, win, lose or draw I’m going to be the pretty one leaving …

Unbelievable. “Nature Boy” KJ Noons is channeling early 1980’s Ric Flair trying to become the “arrogant heel” of MMA. In a conversation at FightHype he basically says that he’s run roughshod over the MMA world to such a degree that he’s thinking about turning his attention to boxing fulltime. Sure, he realizes …
